The Sleeping Giant Park Association has started cataloging the biota found in our
park. We expect that this
effort will provide a resource to monitor the health of the park and changes in
the park. To begin the
catalog we held our first bioblitz on April 19, 2009. Experts and volunteers combined to
identify almost 300 species.
