The Sleeping Giant Park Association Capital Fund Drive
One of the charter activities of The Sleeping Giant Park Association is to acquire land to add to the park.
This becomes increasingly difficult and costly as the land around the park is developed but in the past year we have
had the very good fortune to acquire two parcels of land totalling 15 acres. The cost of these parcels was $330,000.
We were able to purchase them because of the generosity of supporters of Sleeping Giant Park over the past years
in contributing to our land acquisition fund. To be prepared for possible future opportunity to acquire more land the
park association is undertaking a capital fund drive to restore the land acquisition fund. The goal is to raise $250,000.
